I've been trying to go straight to the library after class so that I can study. Optimize time in school all that crap. But friends are always there to kill time.
Save me.
Which reminds me of something that happened yesterday. Lady, we're all almost adults now. Can you not cut in line when you know that I was there first? Duh.
And duuuuuuuuuuuuude. Can you not tell people that I'm a bad person just because I used to smoke? I mean come on! How old are you? And even if I still do, I don't know what that has to do with what kind of person I am (except maybe that I might have a death wish). How old are you? 6?

I finally got the printer to work on my MacBook! All I needed was to update my software.
I should've tried that sooner so I didn't have to borrow mom's laptop just to print my school stuff.
Anyway, we reported our Epworth Sleepiness Scale (ESS) mini-study results today in class. I didn't know that it was going to be a slightly serious presentation. People had powerpoint presentations ready. I didn't.
So I just read off my paper (which was lacking in more ways than one).
Good thing the paper's really due tomorrow. So now it's all prim and proper for tomorrow.
It took me nearly 4 hours just to polish that up. Snaps for procrastinating. Boo.

My sister has Paramore on her playlist. Not that I have anything against Paramore. I think Hayley has pretty awesome vocals. But their songs pretty much start sounding the same after some time.
Yeah. One of those bands.
Which reminds me. I remember telling Alan about how Panic at the Disco's second album sucked and when he told me that he liked it, I was pretty much shocked out of my mind.
Well, mostly because I really liked most of what he listens to.

I hate being in an argument or fight or whatever. Given that someone was being serious when you crack a joke, it was a joke and the person understood that it was one.
I love it that right now, in Japan, it's Golden Week.
What I hate, though, is the fact that once they start entering the workforce, they won't have a life.
And can it stop being this hot? I'm breaking out in rashes already!

Thanks to my sister, we don't own any wearable flipflops anymore. But it's also thanks to her that we have new ones now. I can't wait to see what she bought once she comes back!
I spent the day looking up scholarships abroad. It may be a waste of time but meh. Remind me to get things done by December. Or any time I'm free. Right now I'm not really free but I still spent the day looking up scholarships. This is my version of procrastinating. I don't want to read my textbook yet nor do I want to do my homework.
And yet I am planning to apply for scholarships for graduate school. Great.
I'm a BS Psychology major graduating March of next year. I'm seriously considering taking up a second degree cause I noticed that most scholarships for graduate schools are science-related. Either that, or engineering.
Did I choose the wrong course?

It was pretty funny.

I keep this countdown timer going on the dashboard of my macbook. Every once in a while, I check it to see how long it is 'til Nori comes to the Philippines.
He tells me I should stop counting the days -- it'll just make it seem longer.
But then the reason I'm counting is more because it's just there in the dashboard and it kills time and boredom checking it and then talking about it. Which reminds me of yesterday again. Ugh.
Jally invited me to watch his friend's gig yesterday. And instead, I watched this contemporary ballet and jazz thing in this horrid studio. At least there's a sure repeat of last week's gig. And the Japanese exchange students plan on going to that one too.
Oh. I finally caught up on House episodes. Yay me! It took me almost the whole day but it was pretty entertaining so...

Okay. So I’m applying for an internship to Japan and I wrote a letter telling the bank people why I want to intern for them. I made the boyf help me with the Japanese cause I wanted to write a Japanese letter.
As I was reading it just now. I realized that although I knew most of the grammar he used, I don’t actually use it.
I think I’m screwed, yes?
And contemporary ballet, so not my thing. I'm sooooooo tired.
Not that I was dancing it, okay? I went with my sister to watch this show that she's required to watch.
Or I guess not exactly required... Maybe the prof plans on giving them plus points.
Anyway, her classmate told me that I look like some Japanese or Korean girl from TV. Not the first time that I heard that one.

Err. Went to get the JASSO scholarship application form in the morning and then waited around for Ma'am Mendoza. Not there. Will have to submit early morning tomorrow! Oh well.
Oh. I don't like being so... needy. I mean. I guess I didn't realize when he wasn't there in the past because I was so busy. And he... was not.
Meh. Gotta stop making my world revolve around him then, yes?

New Year's Eve
Pen's dad invited my dad for New Year's eve dinner. So we spent the evening of Dec 31 at Ying Ying with Pen's family. So his three brothers, his ahya's wife. His two cousins and their wives. One of em even had kids. Adorable! <3 Super.
And then off we went to Sa yi's house for post dinner stuff like ice cream :D
